Mr. Brattson's well loved "hot-lips" ginger-beer stand on the boardwalk
at the north-east corner of the Dance Hall Unfortunately the secret formula
of his "hot-lips" ginger beer passed on with him. He came from Brighton,
England and his family had run ginger beer stands on Brighton's beach boardwalk.
The CNR gave him special permission to run his "ginger beer" stand on the
boardwalk. |
The
Doctor's Office was on the main boardwalk between the Dance Hall and the
first bandstand shelter. A "H" shaped bath house was located on the
north side of the boardwalk just eat of the present Beach Station, and
there was publicv washroom just east of the Dance Hall. The well known,
and much loved little white Superintendent's
Office was right at the end of the train tracks. |
